It's hard not to notice the shipyard cranes and ships being built as you drive along the Mississippi Gulf Coast near Pascagoula. Ingalls Shipbuilding, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries, has been on the Coast since 1938 and employs over 11,500 employees. Join us as our own Randy Shaw provides an overview of the economic impact of the shipbuilding industry along the Gulf Coast, and offers a chance to map the PMBOK to the ship construction process!
Randy Shaw is a Waterfront Director USCG National Security Cutter (NSC) Project, Project Resident Office, Gulf Coast, in Ingalls SY, Pascagoula. He's been in Marine Engineering for forty years and is US Navy, Retired. Randy was a founding member of our Chapter and the 2015 Chapter President, and he was recently elected as the incoming 2018 Vice President of Membership.
In addition to Randy's presentation we will be introduce our incoming 2018 Board of Directors.
